EXHIBITION
The exhibition brings together a series of works reflecting Penso´s research in recent years in a sort of anthological exhibition including a large central installation made on site for the occasion . The works are made from photographs or taken from videos showing abandoned factories in the industrial area of Marghera-Venice, classic icons or imagined directly by the artist.
THE LOCATION
The exhibition space covers a surface of 200m2 and is situated at 120 Ne First Street − Down Town − Miami, ten minutes from Art Basel International Contemporary Art Fair.
The space will be arranged specially for the occasion, creating a setting that creates a contract between the extremely contemporary works on display and the neoclassical style typical of Miami´s architecture.
VERNISSAGE
The vernissage of the exhibition will bring together 300 guests, including collectors, gallery owners and art enthusiasts. The new guide to the art market− Kernot Art − The international contemporary art market − to be published in January 2007, will be presented at the vernissage.
