Bruno Kladar
Painter, I only want to paint Paint.
I organize it, I build it... In the actual meaning of building.
Narrative is for narrators, historical for historians, subject for subjectivists, etc...
Of course, there could be personal stories, even some philosophy, but −silence− that is of our concern only!
If I manage to achieve one painting, I will have made it! Not succeeding in turning one´s art into an oeuvre − and, at best, just one oeuvre − is to make only scattered objects. Painting is a serious affair, a question of aura and surface!
In other words, painting has no other immediate statement than its own laws.
Logic and simplicity of the material, relevance of the act.
As of today, two exposable experiences:
−Petite Oeuvre Démocratique (Small Democratic Oeuvre): Reanimated on the surface, more surface than surface, in a quest for a certain figure, one that would stand devastating time, the P.O.D. is the remnant of a slow decomposed movement of the painting´s body, shape, color and base, ... of all that could be a nuisance to the eye.
−Révolution: Above all, nothing to be added. To be dug, better. Reconstitute a canvas. Another canvas. A surface? ...Scrupulously dismantle the industrial canvas into small pieces. In its color, scrupulously put it back together, leaving the least traces possible...
